Got a 4.7 liter durango motor that went bad. Anyone know if there is anything that i can swap it with like the 5.2 or 5.9. Having a hard time finding a 4.7 that wont break the bank, can find 5.9's all day long. Its going in a 2001

 

unless your trying to swap out a lot of parts its going to be a pain. the 5.2l and 5.9l engine bolts on to a different transmission. not sure if its compatible with some other things.(cooling system etc)

You can always just get the 4.7l engine rebuilt?

 

2 completely different setup's. Just stay with the 4.7L.
