Just scored an 01 Durango
Hello all!
My father-in-law just gave me his 01 because it was sitting and not getting used (yes I said gave). I don't really have any immediate plans for it other than fixing the small problems.
Failed Emissions Testing:
P0302 code (mis-fire)
ECM reads bad o2 heater
I know the plugs have been replaced so i'll be swapping stuff from #4 to see if I can isolate the problem. I guess it overheated on him while pulling a hill (which is why he parked it) and all then these problems showed up.
Lets pray it isn't a bad valve!
Anyway, down the road I am thinking cold air and maybe some better exhaust. This forum looks like a very valuable asset so I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me!
