Blown Infinity Speaker Repair
I wasn't going to post this since it's a total redneck repair but going on the second speaker with one repair over a year and still thumping I figured I'd give a heads up to anyone else that is experiencing a "bluurp" sound in the bass. The problem is a tear in the gasket that connects to the cone. After looking into a $200 replacement I decided to go redneck and see if I could glue it. I laid the speaker on it's magnet then laid a bead of standard Elmers (white) glue around the gasket that was tore. The first speaker was tore about half way around, the speaker that went about 3 months ago was only 3-4 inches. I didn't notice a difference in the sound and so far the speakers are still thumping!

If people have a problem with the Infinity Speaker and the foam that surrounds it cracking, here is a better solution for repairs. Cheaper than buying a new speaker.
