I'm saying it might not be good to install a Transgo Shift Kit on a transmission that has seen a lot of ware.
As for adjustments, YES you want to adjust a 42RE, 44RE, and 46RE transmissions when you drop the pan and replace the filter and fluid (ATF+4 ONLY).
The 45RFE (or even the 545RFE) transmissions located behind the 4.7L motor has NO band adjusters so they are only a fluid (ATF+4 ONLY) and 2 filter design.
Never flush a Chrysler transmission!
