Does anyone know the muffler that was on the 2001 R/T? I recently purchased a 2005 durango limited with a hemi. I have tried 2 mufflers from Midas (Raven series) and they are too loud. I like a v-8 rumble, but can't have the drone of this muffler. This has already cost me $600 so I need the right choice now. The wife loved the low rumble of our old 2001 R/T. Any suggestions would be appreciated by our ears!!!!

The original muffler was a Dynomax. not sure of the model however. BUT, try a Flowmaster 50 series. They're are no where near as loud as the Ravens, have a better performance design, will not give you a drone but still give ya the growl. I'd be surprised if the FM ran ya more than $100 or so.
