Well some new people haven't figured out quite how to use the features most likely.

Try to use the https://dodgeforum.com/forum/search.php

The OP asked for a decent shock with relatively low cost. I provided him with my research and real costs, simple as that. He can do with it what he wants. I recently looked at Bilstein's and almost bought KYB's until I found this deal. All are good shocks in my opinion and I have had good luck with Monroe in the past.

IndyDurango comes in and questions my information and I provide more info. Then he chimes back in in a condescending fashion and say's to use the "search" function. If you don't want to answer the question, don't post. You "know it all" post ****** are on every forum. You indeed are "Champion".

I have AZ Gabriel Ultras front and rear. My D had its original shocks and it was a worl dof difference! Paid about $130 altogether. Installed them myself. I'm proud of that.

Indy does have knowledge and using the term *post ******* is condescending in it's own way. If you believe that this forum has too many so called *post ******* with no knowledge, than I think that you are definately in the wrong forum to voice your rudeness in the above matters. He is stating a fact in that what many New Members should do is *Search* before asking a question that has been asked sooooo many times here before in the past. I think that your answer to the question is one of many and to each his own. Just like asking which tire is the best, answer is, everyone has their opinions but do a *Search* and you will see what I am talking about. Just my 2c's worth.

and we appreciate you sharing what you have found with those who might not have time to do their own research

he wasnt directing that at you, actually, if you bothered to read his post it was in response to gr8scotts post, and you should really watch what you say, and (more importantly) how you say it around long time-well established members, especially considering that you have only been a member for just over a month and have a total of 6 posts, . . . . just saying

LMFAO!!!!!! You are so right Indy, unles the info is from a trusted and known source than WTF good is it!!!

I too have just bought shocks for my D for a great price on ebay however I wont suggest them until I put them in and have a review after a few thousand miles. When I did my research here, they all seemed to be the same other than hydraulic to nitrogen and valved or unvalved. So brand did'nt really come into play but more so drove the price of the shock itself. Bilsteins were definately the most exp. that I found but a more affordable shock just as good without the Bilstein name is available. To each his own but if wanna stir the sh#t pot and stink up a forum than you have a great question OP

Yep and I got an infraction for "insulting a member" one time. It was Indy that I supposedly insulted.

Calling me a lemming is insulting. I demand he gets an infraction!!! (or public flogging)

What about it Hydra? You give me one, you need to give him one too.

Okay, mods, this thread is kinda getting off topic. (This coming from the thread hijacker ) Let's just all agree that we have our tastes and certainly not everyone would like them. So let's just agree to disagree. And yeah, I was scolded a few times for asking a well-known question w/o doing a search as a newb.

Enough!

Regardless, there are many shocks out there and many price ranges. Bilstein HD shocks are a great shock for everything at a great price.

I know this question has been asked 1000 times before but being a new member please be inclined to the fact that many new people don't understand the Forums like you do and their functions. Please be respectful and lead new members to the place they can get the info they need.

Thanks,
~Rustin~
