usually that is two different issues.

The AC not blowing on anything but high is the blower resister. Search on that and find the instructions. $20/15 minutes to fix DIY.

Check engine light could be anything. More details needed. Fix the blower resister first and get back with us.

i agree with indy sounds like the blower resistor is shot, easy fix,

on the cel we need the codes, you can try the key-dance trick or get them read at autozone
