Heat and A/C Issues
Well this is my first post to this forum. I have a 2003 Durango. We bought it 4 years ago and love it. When we checked it out on the lot everything seemed to work fine. Well the heat and A/C would only blow on high in the front. The dealer said they would fix it but I had to drop it off at 7:30 am and sit and wait till they get to it. Long story short I was driving home the other day and wow the A/C was blowing on low. I has so happy until I got into the truck later in the day and it wasn't working up front at all. The back works great. A friend of ours said it sounds like the A/C Switch. Anyone know how to change it before my hubby starts tearing my truck apart and lossing pieces and I have to do this
to my hubby for breaking my truck.
Simple. Blown Blower Motor Resistor. $25 and 15 minutes to fix. Located under the pass side dash. The dealer will sell him the part and can provide an exploded view print out to see what he is working with.
If your husband tears stuff apart or gets anywhere near the AC, feel free to shoot him.
Tell your friend to not provide a diagnosis without the proper education relating to the exact issue. Bad things usually occur thereafter.
