Default Brake light help

Im a newbie and I am having a problem with my right side brake light and blinker on my 2003 durango. My brake light is out on the right but the left one works fine. I replaced the brake light and the blinker light that didnt fix the problem. I checked fuses but no problems there. I went to an autoparts store and asked them and they said it sounds like the relay is bad. I have a new relay but cant seem to find where it goes. I have a safety inspection coming up in a few weeks and am open to any ideas or suggestions. Thanks.

Check to make sure you are getting power to the socket for the bulb. Then most likely have the turn signal flasher replaced. Sometimes the heat from the bulbs will make the contacts in the sockets move away from the other contacts in the housing, you might also want to look in that direction.

yup!

Make sure the contacts are clean in the socket and make sure the ground wire is grounding.
