Default Wheel/rim Selection

I have had a hard time finding newer style rims, so I have two questions:

1) Can anyone direct me to a spot (Michigan shop or website) that has a good selection of rims for my 02 Durango 4X4?

2) Can I change the Durango 6 lug wheel pattern to a 5 lug Ram or Dakota to get more rim choices?

any rim manufacturer website should have a selection tool which will allow you to put in either the make/model/year of your truck, or the lug pattern (6x4.5 i believe) to bring up compatible rims, im not sure what you mean by 'newer style' but there are alot of custom rims out there which fit this pattern, it is NOT that uncommon as to make it difficult unless you want something very specific.

the dakota used the same 6 lug pattern up until 05, then they switched to the 5 lug pattern, and while yes it is possible to switch the pattern it is VERY expensive to do so, and will be almost all custom work since afaik there are not 'kits' to do it (and i believe you would have to find a new rear axle)

THANKS FOR THE INFO... The local shops that I have been to all said that no one really uses my lug pattern anymore, so there aren't many wheel options. I like to support local business, but it seems like I'll have to swarm the internet now. Then after I find something on the net, I'll take it to a local shop to see if they can get it... THANKS AGAIN.

i dont blame you on supporting local buisness, but in this case, the net is the answer, if they can get what you want, great, if not. . .

I would be willing to met you in Northern Indiana for pickup if that works to save you the shipping expense.
