I want to install a flex mechanical fan because down here in south Texas, the electric fan just does not cut it. The old fan is heavy and does not work that well. I heard great things about the new flex fans, but, of course, all of the universal flex fans fit the new 4 bolt on the front of the clutch pattern. The 2000 Durango (5.9) has the backwards approach where the fan bolts on a non-standard pattern on the backside of the clutch. Which reminds me, I need to buy a water pump hub locking wrench...my homemade one broke. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

check the internet, ebay, ect im sure it is out there, might even be sold as a kit for your engine

just make sure that the clutch is good (should spin less than 1/2 a turn by hand with the engine off) mine only spins one blade before stopping.
