Default key fob don't work, can I shut off security?

Hey all my key fob doesn't work anymore, is there anyway to shut off the security system. I had to disconnect the horn because everytime I open the door with the key it sets off the alarm.
Thanks all.

Did you read your manual? There should be a section under security to help you disable the factory alarm. Or do you have aftermarket alarm? If so, go to their website and they can tell you how to diagnose and disable the alarm. HTH.

Are you making sure to turn the key fully? Because mine did that before because i tried to get in real quick, then I looked in the manual and it just said to turn the key fully in the drivers side door.
