Default AC problems 02 durango

I replaced my compressor with a Compressor Works compressor , new expansion valve and dryer, flushed condensor, lines, evap. and pulled vacuum for about 45 minutes and i let the vacuum hold for about an hour before i filled it so it has no leaks, added a charge of oil and 134a

i've got 40 psi on the low side 240 psi on the high and 60F coming out the vents going down the road at 1500 rpm the book says i should have 54F at the vent at 90F outside temp and 30-40 psi low side and 225-325 psi high side
should the high side have more psi?
it does cool inside but the AC has always sucked since the car was new so i'm wondering if its good and my new compressor whines above idle speed, it has done this since the moment the clutch first came on
should i get a new compressor and start over or is this typical with Compressor Works? Auto Zone said they would let me trade it in for another one
