Differential Oil ?
Hi-
I have an 03 Durango, 4.7L with a 12-bolt differntial cover. I'm in the middle of changing the gear oil. I've already put in a little over 2.5 quarts, but the oil is not flowing out of the fill plug yet. Should I keep on adding oil until it flows out of the plug, or is 2.5 to 2.75 quarts enough?

Keep adding until it is right at the bottom of the fill plug on the cover. Remember that OEM says a 1/2 inch below the fill plug.
