stupid question on A/C
Hi
I just picked up a 98 durango with the 5.9 and had to replace the A/c compressor but for the life of me i cant find the expansion valves front and rear a/C please help thank you is there a possibility that it has an orifice tube? and not an expansion valve thank you |
check rockauto and/or autozone website for replacement parts and see what's listed. my 01 doesn't have an expansion valve. the high pressure line goes directly into the firewall.

talk to 45autopete, he is A/C certified and will be able to tell you where to look.
afaik the A/C uses expansion valves |
