ok, so problem number one - Ran a code search, electric fan is bad, tested switch and relay.. no problem, did continuity (sp?) test on fan, shot... anyone know were to get one cheap?

Glad that you found the major problem. That is why it will not take anymore freon, the condenser fan has to work in order for the A/C to function properly. I always stick to the stock fan but others here have modified other fans to work.

Found the fan at NAPA but they were closed already, gonna call in the morning and I hope they stock it.. if not, no D for a couple days

If that's with the A/C running your low side is WAY too high. It needs to be around 40. And that's why it won't take anymore.

I had mine at 50+ and mine wasn't cooling much, dropped it down to 40 and it was like a new A/C system.

Yep!

You should be at 2.44 lbs with a dual unit and you only have 1 lbs.......don't make sense!

Compressor oil?... Maybe I'm way off-base.
