Default Problem with '01 power windows

Hello all.
I just bought my '01 Durango 2 weeks ago and have been loving it (except for the absence of air lockers available on the market).

My question is about my power windows. The passenger and back seats can not put their windows down, but when I try with my driver side controls, all windows go down fine. My initial thought would be something wrong with the window lock, but wouldnt that affect the driver side controls also?

Any help would be appreciated.

That problem has been asked many times before but I will answer for you. You need to replace your driver's side window switch controller. It gets moisture from rolling down the window and having water leak right on top of it. The controller has a circuit board built into it that shorts out. You can try to pressing down the window lock/unlock button many times and sometimes that will work but in reality, you need a new switch. The window lock does not affect the driver's side, only locks out the passengers doors.

Check the wire bundle in the door. Make sure it's not pinched between the interior panel and the metal. Found this one after trying to fix the same window switch.

Must be a pretty common problem on our Durango's because my '01 is having the exact same issue. Time to look for a new controller. Good info- thanks!
