Steering rack 2001
Hello members.
I need some advice from you experts regarding the steering rack for a 4x2 Durango 2001.
I have a leaky steering rack and bought a rebuilt rack from a company in Flordia. The E-bay page indicated a 4x4 rack, so I bought it.
Imported it to Iceland for $250 and found out the this rack is for a 4x2. Their fault, my loss. I need to sell this rack but need to know if it will fit any other Dodge vehicle?
Your help is highly appreciated.

It should fit the 4x2 Dakota, they are basically the same when it comes to some parts interchanging. If the one you bought is from a company in Florida and they misrepresented it by saying it is for a 4x4 in their posting, you should be able to get them to eat the shipping cost and have the right one shipped or refund your money.

Hello 45 AutoPete.
Yes, they refunded the $180, but to ship this part to Iceland was $250 which includes import tax and sales tax. It really adds up when the ice krona is worthless compared to the $. $1/125 ice kr. So I lost $250 on their mistake. No 4x2 trucks in Iceland, unless it was bought by mistake. We use the truck because of the 4x4, not for hauling and looks.:-)
Thanks for the advice.
