Default More smoke

So a few months ago my truck started smoking pretty bad. I already needed to replace my plenum gasket so I did. Now today it started smoking again. It doesn't do it when I drive. Only when I'm stopped for a minute and then hit the gas and then it eventually goes away till I stop again. I'm stumped at this point. I'm throwing no codes either. I have noticed a build up of oil on each end of the breather that goes from the driver side valve cover to to air hat. And when I pull the hose off the air hat there's oil in it. Coul this be the issue and how do I fix it

Maybe your valve seals are probably shot. Oil is leaching it's way around the valve stems and entering the combustion chambers. You can do a compression test and a leak down test. If you have good compression but it leaks down fast the seals might be bad. If the compression sucks, the rings might be toast and oil is making it up past the rings and entering the chamber that way.

I went to go to the store and my engine light came on. Misfire on cylinder 4. It makes since because the smoke didn't smell like oil. I'm thinking it was from gas pooling when I was stopped. Installing new plugs now and we'll see if anything changes.
