Default AC Valve Problem

Hi all

my son just overcharged his AC and decided to let some out by sticking a screw driver in the valve on a line that comes from the compressor. Well he certainly discharged it and in the meantime broke the valve and everything blew out of it. My question is how do i replace the valve on that pipe.Looks like it unscrews but tried a pair of grips but nothing it wouldnt budge.

Thanks

Been doing some research and found, if i am correct that the valve is the High pressure service port?

Can this be replaced with a tire valve tool or do i have to somehow replace the whole valve?

Thanks

now that the system has been opened it will need to be vacuumed down before adding anymore refrigerant, i would take it to an a/c tech for this repair since the equipment you would need is very expensive, they will be able to direct you in the correct direction on replacing that valve, and get it done faster than you can (and they warranty it )

Yep!

Just take it in to a certified shop.
