Still a transmission issue!
Alright guys. I am close but just not quite there yet I do not think.
So, if you have read my other posts you know that I replaced my original 46re in my 1999 Durango with a 2001 46re. And after some SLIGHT modifications, the transmission is jiving with the truck.
Except for a little hiccup I think.
After all the computer errors went away when I replaced the governor pressure sensor and the blown fuse, the truck was no longer driving in "limp mode", but I was left with harsh/delayed shifting from 1-2, and from 2-3, with the occasional quick downshift back from 3-2.
So, I adjusted the throttle linkage, and the harsh/delayed shifting went away, but I am still seeing the occasional quick 3-2 downshift. and am also seeing an almost instant 3-4 upshift also.
I am not sure if this is a pressure issue, or a band issue, or if there is something else that may be causing this. I think I will try to double check my linkage to make sure I adjusted it properly.
Again, I have no check engine light, I did reset the PCM and was also wondering if this could be part of the computer learning curve.
Thanks all!
