Default Front pump bushing?

Pulled trans to fix front seal leak on the 98 D in sig. TC was "stuck" had to gently pry it out with tire irons on either side, Im not a transmission guy, but I belive the front pump bushing is/was siezed to the TC snout. I didnt realize thats what it was until looking at some rebuild pictures, then it hit me. SO... Now what? Can I just pull the pump and put a new bushing in? Or am I looking at more internal damage? Truck drove just fine as long as you kept enough fluid in it. Had high revs when first started when cold to get it moving, but only a few seconds then took off like normal after that. Do I need a new TC as well or more internals?

I split the bushing off the TC snout, some of the material stuck to it though, I will try to post some pictures, Can it been cleaned up (if the TC is still good) and reused? Need this thing back on the road now....

This is a 46RE with lockup right? and the scratches around the outside of the TC I think were from me sitting there spinning it and rocking it around trying to get it to come out, it wasnt making any noise when running, and if pushed it all the way back it spun freely in the pump.... Do I need a new pump too, seen a post mentioning not to reuse a pump that had spun the bushing.

I think you should be ok.

As for the the cross member, it should go right in?

The specs were left over crap from a bad reman weld job. I ended up taking the trans to a local Aamco in Tulsa, They had a used pump in good shape sittin on the shelf. They rebuilt/resealed their pump and installed it in my trans for a grand total of $50. I love bein a car nut sometimes, sit there an BS with the manager and get a good deal. They couldnt do anything with the TC and their lowest was $300. I didnt have that, needed the truck back together. So I started callin around and Oklahoma transmission supply had one for $160 after tax. Very good quality, welds looked pretty much flawless, much better initial quality than what came out of it. Got the truck all back together couple days ago. Drives great, no leaks.

As for the crossmember, a tire iron on one end and 10 lb sledge on the same end got it back between the frame rails.... Seen where a lot of people suggest a portapower to spread the frame.... Holy crap, seriously???? And why is it angled like that. Put in from the top before the body gets set on? WTF? Anyway. Thanks for replies, hope it lasts a long time. I'll pull motor and tranny together if it ever comes back out.

The frames are notorious for twisting out of square without the cross members retaining the spreed. I would have not thought you wouldn't have had that issue because of the main motor member that is welded right in front of the transmission cross member. Guess I was wrong.
