Ok all I have a 1998 durango 4x4 with 159,00 miles on it. I just had the driver's side upper ball joint replaced and both inner tie rods. Only to find out that the upper ball joints where factory on it. i didnt belive my mechanic. So i pulled the passenger tire and their she was the upper ball joint was rivited on. I was dump founded. Espcially after reading how durango eat ball joints.

 

if you have a 2wd i believe it, it is the 4x4s that eat balljoints like a little kid eats candy
