fog lights question

I have hids in the headlights and fog lights now, in my old ranger i had the fog lights modded so when you turned high beams on the fogs still worked, i have looked at the wiring diagrams for the headlights and fog lights but just have not sat down long enough to study the diagrams yet and figure it out.
Also I had a Ranger where I jumped a hot from the A/C relay to the fog relay and they were hot via the button anytime the key was on.
