Default Open AC system

Just picked up an 02 Durango SLT Plus, 4.7L with rear AC.
It was in a small front end accident and the condensor had been removed.
It has been open for at least a month.

From limited reading I believe I need to flush the lines, and the evaporator(s).
Replace the drier and condensor. Vacuum and add oil and R134.

All I have done in the past was replaced an o ring, vacuumed and added R134 to a towncar.

Problem is I am totally unsure how to use the harry homeowner flush and where to start on the durango.

For example, do I need to remove the expansion valve for flushing?
If not, which expansion valve opening (line) to flush?
Do I need a new expansion valve since the system was open?

Any step by step procedures/recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes you will need to remove the expansion valves to flush the system or remove the lines before and after and flush around the expansion valves. You don't want to push trash to your expansion valves or you will be tearing it down replacing them as soon as you recharge the system. I would recommend replacing your expansion valves if your going this deep into the system. I speak from experience. I replace the compressor and dryier on my d after the compressor to a crash. I flushed the whole system but after a couple of days i was tearing it back down replacing the rear expansion valve. I would start by removing the lines from compressor and front expansion valve. You will have to remove the passenger side panel in far rear of car to get to the back evap and expansion valve. Hope this helps.
