Default power window regulator

99 durango drivers side....the cable came off of the rollers....i guess. it's too dark to see right now, but, the window seems to still ride in the long center track. i can feel the black plastic covering of the cable & it seems like the cable is in 1 piece. it feels like the end with the spring should go to the bottom roller, but i'm not sure what holds the spring in place, is there a clip that broke? or does tension just hold it once the cable goes over both rollers? i'm also guessing the bare cable rides 'inside' the track, which would be to the outside of the truck. not sure how or why it fell off, or what kind of clamp to look for to see if it is broken. also not sure where/how to get the cable over the rollers.

does anybody have a picture or a drawing of how the cable is supposed to go over the rollers, & where does the thick plastic covered portion go?

As easy as these are to do, don't try to fix it, replace it.

Yeah, I have replaced all four of mine in the last year or so. $55 each on eBay shipped and takes about 20 min to change.
