Thanks for all the input. I ended up going with the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmors.

Hydra, so far they are excellent! They handle like the road is dry in the rain, even on the expressway at 70 mph. They stick to the dry pavement like I'm on rails.

Hmmm... From what you said about your tires on the other thread, the GYs may be in my future when I replace my tires.

I finally got to drive my GY Wrangler Silentarmors in the snow! WOW!!!! They are superb!!! Very little slippage and still handle very well. I drove my girlfriend to work today through all back country and hilly roads with up to 3" of snow still on the road in 2wd the whole way!! It was about a 26 mile round trip.

Very highly recommended and definitely worth the extra money!!

I just ordered this morning a set of tires. They are a new company called Fierce. They are mud grip style tires. They are 245/75 r16. Computer sais they are 30.7 inches tall but they are a 10 ply tire so they should be durable. I payed 588.00 for them with free shipping through work connections so Im going to try them out.

just google fierce tires. The website sais you can get them at Wal-mart or Sams. I just installed them this morning. They look awesome but I have not drivin' it yet. Some website I looked at like tire rack or something said they were made by goodyear. I dont know if that is true or not. Either way they look sweet. They have barbed wire molded on the sidewall and its cool looking. I hope they dont sing too bad.
