Default Remote start

I'm thinking about adding remote start to my Durango before winter hits. Does anyone have any experience with them on Durangos? Any reason that I shouldn't with these trucks? Pros / cons, etc...?

If the wiring is done right and professionally, it should be fine. Nothing to worry about.

Water and shiatty connections are you worst friend.

So true! my friend had one put on his 06 ram, and after a few months of sitting out in winter weather, it would spontaneously decide to start. He couldn't tell you how many times he got woken up in the middle of the night, thinking that someone was stealing his truck

i agree, if you have a good professional installer you should be fine, but these systems are also at fault for many electrical system malfunctions after they are installed.

I bought my D used and it had a remote start along with alarm. It worked great for a few months then the alarm part started getting wacky. I put the alarm in valet mode and just use it for opening and locking the doors now.
