Truck wont start and i have lots of school this week...HELP
My 1999 durango 5.9 will not start. I replaced the battery cables for good connections, the battery is tested and ok with plenty of volts and amps. I checked the fuses and relays and they all seem ok. There is no starter noise AT ALL, no clicks or grinding or anything. The acc. all comes on but there is NOTHING when i turn the key. Any ideas or strange things these trucks do that might cause this? Im stumped and dont want to pull the starter if i dont have to. This is a busy week at school and i cant get there!
Ok so after a very frustrating day...and a few brews, I determined it was a bad ground under the starter relay. I had to take the fuse panel off, melt the wire and run a new ground. God i hate electrical problems!
