Hi I own a 2001 Durango w/ ABS brakes. Well now my brake light is on. Does anyone know if its safe to continue to drive it until i can get the truck in the shop to have it checked out?

 

yes you can keep driving it, but do yourself a favor and check the brake fluid before you go to a shop and see if that is low, if so it will set off the light

also check the rear wheel speed sensor (top of the rear differential) and the output speed sensors on the transmission (3 things that most people dont realize can trip this light)

 

Check your bake fluid level and bring it to the full line with DOT-3 fluid.
