Yup, RC12MCC4. I can't remember when/in what they started using NGK's, but I know they did. it surprised me. Maybe it was just the flex fuel engines. Or the 3.7's only. Don't really have the desire to waste any time finding out when it doesn't really matter anyway, though.

Well I went to the shop and explained to them what it was doing and they told me that the power steering box was probably loose. It didn't dawn on me until this afternoon that my D has a steering rack. I just got home and looked for a p.s. box but didn't see one, just a pump looking thing with hoses at the end the end of the steering shaft. I tried calling my uncle, a 20yr certified mopar mechanic who also has an 02 D, to find out if there is someway of adjusting the steering, but I just think the guy at the shop is giving it to me! My tires feel like they are starting to feather already on the outside tread bar.

I did however get to the parts store and picked up the Champion Copper plugs for my D. I will most likely do the service this weekend

You DO have rack and pinion steering (so no adjustment) and that as$hole is tryin to screw you, tell them to put it back on the rack or give you your money back and show him the tires.

Hydrashocker, I talked to my uncle and he said the same thing. It's rack and pinion with no adjustment. I'll let you know how I made out.

I went back to the shop this morning and explained about the rack and pinion steering and the tire wear. I said it is alot more noticeable on the x-way than in the city. After complaining for a few minutes, I am having my D put back on the rack and alignment checked again friday morn.

duramgo dont put in any plug other than the champion copper OEM plug , the 4.7L runs much better with that plug than any platinum or autolite offering. As far as the K&N save your money without a full CAI setup you will get zero increase in both performance and MPG's over a quality paper filter, I suggest a WIX filter it flows very well for a paper and will keep alot more stuff out of the engine than a K&N. And have that shop double check you alignment again.Hope you get your MPG's back!

yes you are pushing your product, plain and simple you stated that you worked for autolite, and then started talking about your plugs(that is pushing your product, also known as spamming) and making claims that you cannot back up.

and another thing, its too bad these trucks don't have a hemi in them, and do NOT run right with anything but the copper core plugs they were designed to run with. Many people have tried, and of those i would say 99% have switched back to copper core plugs. I love the fact that you offered this guy free plugs for his next 2 plug changes, you are an idiot with NO FACTS to actually back up your claims, thank you for playing YOU LOSE!

besides, if you are going to spam you should probably consider using spell check. also almost 8 bucks a plug is way too expensive http://www.amazon.com/Autolite-XP526.../dp/B000ET5TGW
