Chris

his issue is (as i read it) dependant on the vehicle speed and independant of the engine speed, not likely to be an exhaust manifold in that situation much more likely that it is something in the driveline

The clicking noise seems to appear under the truck somewhere. The noise appears when you reach 35 mph and the clicking will change with speed. After getting up past 40, I cannot hear if the clicking is there due to wind noise.

I do know if I drop below 35 clicking noise is goes away.

So please chime away if any senior users remember this issue! It's driving me nuts now that I can drive my truck with my windows down on a glorious cool week in DFW.
tick tick tick sound i would like to say my dodge avenger 2010 is making same noise, only after tak8ng it in and having front brakes done and an oil change didnt make that noise before .i heard it right away and had the mechanic listen and drive with me he heard .and told me just watch it and see if it goes away well no it hasnt getting on my nerves bad now. Wonder what it is? And its probably dangerous driving who knows?

Welp, after months if not a year or more, the clicking progressively got worse. Now it sounds like exhaust pipe rattling at certain rpms. Finally got full low restrict cat back dual exhaust setup from a great reputable shop and the clicking now rattling was still there.

took it to the shop to have it looked over. it was traced down to my flywheel. it had a crack on it. Flywheel replaced and now all that ticking and rattling noises are all gone! Now I can listen to the good mellow tone of my Flo Pro muffler's!
