Also, my new yellow top Optima seems to be working out great. My Durango has started everytime since I got the new battery. I think autozone is just a bad place to by parts. My friend just told me he had to get three brand new alternators before they got him one that worked, Anyone else have issues with Autozone parts? Im still pissed that I wasted $40 for someone to tell me my battery was no good when autozone told me 3 different times there was nothing wrong with my battery then they still didnt want to honor their warranty when I brought back the paperwork from the electrical shop.

If he bought a rebuilt alternator then that can happen anywhere. If you spend the extra $$$ on a brand new one then you usually NEVER have a single issue. Same goes for starters.

Well lets take a different approach to this,

if it were YOUR shop (Auto Zone) and you sold someone a battery and they bring it back saying it is bad, you hook it up and it is good, would you want to replace it or tell the guy the thing is good?

Personally, I think there are lots of things that can be wrong and you don't want people bringing back used parts for no reason right? As far as they could see, the guy had other issues and the battery was good. Lets face it, most people out there have no idea what they are doing unless they are a mechanic and a lot of them don't know their *** from a hole in the ground......LOL

At least they let you upgrade instead of telling you to get out of the store.
