I have a 01 Durango that I've recently had to order a refurbished PCM for. It was programmed to my VIN and mileage and shipped to me. Once I received it I disconnected the neg terminal and installed it only to get a P0601 code. The company sent another and told me to leave the battery connected and install. Did that and yet another 0601 code. Battery is at full charge as well. Any suggestions??????? I also used that company in Fl

Leaving the battery connected while you change the computer is not a good idea. Are there any other codes? Is everything actually working fine?

Well if everything's fine other than that I don't really know what to say other than the computer might have issues. Give it a while and see if anything else shows up.

The company says one of the wiring harnesses might be bad. I don't know how I could check that though

Short of looking for something obviously wrong with the connector I don't know what to tell you. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Pull of the negative terminal from the battery... Then pull off all connections to the PCM. Spray them down good with a can of electronics cleaner and repeat till the look clean... then let it dry good and check to see if all the pins are locked and secure in the plastic connector. I have had the plastic connector warp over time and the pins slide backwards and not make a connection when connected.. if all looks good reconnect everything and try again.

I would like to think that it be unlikely that you where sent two faulty modules but, if they are dumb enough to advise you to work on electrical equipment with power still feeding it, who knows what other dumb things they did while "refurbishing" it.
