Having a little issue with my transmission. First off it's been about 30k miles since the last transmission adjustment and fluid/filter replace.

The problem I'm encountering is when it's switching from 2nd to 3rd its a very rough shift and has a small bit of hesitation. It sort of revs up right before the shift also.

Would a transmission adjustment and fluid change probably relieve this or is it something larger?

 

a fluid/filter change and band adjustment is always the best place to start, it sounds like it would fix it, and id say usually does fix any weird shifting, the other adjustment is the tv cable which also needs to be adjusted periodically.
