1st generation offtopic thread

LOL logik. Looks like one of the two leaks a lot of oil too.
No Problem Magic. When you create a thread all about one's own vehicle, one expects a few haters, assclowns and general turds to float by every once in while. When those turds need some tissue, they won't get any from me.

Oh Yeah!! As far as PepBoys goes......I wouldnt ask PEPBOYS for a fire extinguisher if my D was on fire..........On second thought take your D there......They are experts in 4.7 cooling system work.....They are quick do it right the first time, only replace whats necessary, and are happy to help you out....I recommend taking it to P.B Frederick, MD
You know, the biggest problem i've had with my D is my other half (wife). To her it's a car. To me it's not. I ask alot of my D and she's always come through. I've had fire wood stacked in it to the roof from the drivers seat back to the gate. I've had it in more mud than it should have been in and she didn't make me have to walk. She's like an extension of my hand. Maybe it's me, but i won't trade it in for nothing. I couldn't bear the thought of someone else driving it. I've drivin explorers, s10 blazers and jeeps, they don't even come close. From what i've read on here i'm not alone.
Seems to me that most people don't know what we have for engines. I've been asked many times what the hell do you have in that, they are shocked when their told it's a 360. Thats just me, i will drive it until i have to pull my 45cal and put one through her radiator. Indy represents the other end of the spectrum with durango's. they are great to see what can be done to them. he's a true car lover, not just a "its a car and it gets me from a to b.
p.s. Never go to mudsling and tell a guy that his k5 blazer is a nice station wagon, you'll need dental work after.

Here are a few of my past projects:

And the E36's were made from 92-99 FYI guy.
And I realize this IS a Durango forum and until I got a 4.7 I had nuttn but luv for my little D. that beater black 5.2 pulled the 4x4 4.7 from the auction to the shop. Up a pretty steep hill,I was impressed. I love my Durang's, but only to stock condition really. I came close to a cam and intake setup I saw on CL but I didn't have the 4.7 then. I do have a AFE Magnum Force intake and Flows on it. But I don't consider it modded.

[quote=IndyDurango;2371882]bowhuntmaine, thanks man. You get it.
The first 5 years of my Durango, she was just an SUV. I have had it riding on the shocks fully compressed from hauling bricks, carried many a tent and backpack on trail and mud from the years with my son camping in Boy Scouts, and it still is my daily driver today. Not real clean out there right now in fact.
Just after it was 5 years old and 100,000 miles, it was time to go in a different direction with the D. No more hauling... except for trophies from car shows. All 224,000+ miles on her.

That is one of the nicest D i have seen out there giving the fact that i have never been to a car show(yet). you seem to take great pride in your rig and you should.. We have owned 2 SUV's both where explorers the first was a nice rig only issue we had is the motor that shift the tranfer case in 4x4 seem to fail evertime! then second was just a plain POS.. I look forward in the next few days on being a D owner.... i enjoy reading all the good posts here and pics with good information in them makes me even more excited to see what the D offers... with that said keep up the good work and that goes for everyone...
