Since this is an off topic thread, im gonna ask this. I once heard that they made a standard shift durango ffor the overseas market but was not available in the u.s.. True? or just rumor? I was mine was a stick.

i have never heard that, but it would not surprise me, they get all the cool toys overseas :'( (i miss having a standard trans)

Well what ever he is saying i love his durango! looks sweet! he's running 33's with out any lift! lol looks great to me! makes me want 33's right now. course he trimmed the bumper but still!

You and me both. I've half contemplated finding a 5.2L dakota 5-speed and swapping everything over.

Bingo logik.

The Dak has a manual option and since Daks and Ds are so often interchangeable in some minds, the misconception is that there was a manual stocker option available at some point in some D somewhere.

There wasn't.

Hey Sharp, we have been getting some pretty good snow falls up here in NY lately, my D has a full posi rear differential and it goes through the snow like a tank! (and thats with street tires). Do you think that maybe the front diff has a traction augmenting unit in it as well? ...kingoftow
