It is. Just give it a shot. You'll save some cash and build up your confidence behind the wrench. Besides, you have this forum if you run into any trouble.

I have the Super Chip Cortex, I change my tunes whenever I want to,it just takes a few minutes. I can make up my own tunes, but so far I prefer the Super Chip tunes.

Also for future reference for anyone wanting to know what the load adjusting shocks are like, they are very stiff when not towing due to a coil over spring aroun the shock absorber. They ride like a dream however when there is tongue weight on the hitch.

Here's a picture of what they're like, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone pulling a trailer on a regular basis:

I've never used load adjusting shocks. When installing, how difficult are they to compress after disbanding?

That looks like a hefty shock widow.

They are extremely difficult and it ended up I had the rear end on jack stands and used a hydraulic jack to compress the shock to connect the bottom bolt.

If I had to do it again, I would but would I prefer installing a regular shock without a coilover? HELL YES!

Ya know, I gotta complain on that right there as I have thought about it further.

This is an "Off Topic" area of the section, and I even stated that very thing in my post (it's an "Off Topic" statement in a thread that is clearly descripted as Off Topic), however I'm asked to start a new thread, but the "off topic" subjects continue to filter in from other users????? I'm thinkin that's a lil not right! Sorry Dan!

Ya know, I think I'm going to have to take Indy's role and unsubscribe from this thread....IMHO
