Default nv133 transfer case

I have a 02 durango sxt 4.7L Does anyone know if you can make the nv133 to a manual shift, or bypass the tccm?

if it came with an electronic t-case the only way to make it a manual shift is to purchase an older t-case which is already manual shift, and cut up your floor board to put it in, and im going to say this probably wouldnt work with the 4.7 since i believe all 4.7s in the durango came with the electronic shift. If you had the 5.9 i would say it is reasonable to do if you need to replace the t-case anyway, but not for the 4.7 mated trans/t-case.

also why do you want to bypass the tccm or convert to manual shift? i have an 02 w/ the electronic shift and it has never failed me (i hope i didnt just jinx it)

2000 was the only year they used the manual shifter for the transfer case with the 4.7 motor. 01 and up featured the newly redesigned interior (featuring the electronic shifter). I would say most likely not possible because with the new body style comes modifications with powertrain and such. Not sure why you want manual anyways, the electronic is was easier and convenient.

The manual is 10 times less electrical issues!.....LMAO

Do you have a model number for that T-case because I have never heard of it?

Most likely your problem is just corrosion on the main harness that plugs into the shift motor / range sensor. Check them out and clean em.
