It's not much harder than a water pump. Like Corey said you have to remove a few more things to get the timing chain cover off. The 2 front oil pan bolts do need to come out. I didn't have to remove any other oil pan bolts. Taking the oil pan off depends on if the oil pan gasket stays intact. I had one just in case.
