Default P0320 on my 2001 4.7

OK - so I got the following code:
P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
Any suggestions on diagnosing?
Symptom: Engine almost acts like it is hitting a Rev Limiter.
If I get on the gas it is like accelerate, cut out, accelerate, cut out, etc, etc...
Thanks in advance

OK - so I see that the most likely causes are cam and crank position sensors.
Are there any write ups for where to find these babies hopefully with pictures?

SO I replaced the Crank position sensor so far - that sucked. The thing just disintegrated and I had to chip it away. Anyway - I finally got it out, put the new one in. I fired her up and took it for a ride and she seems to be running good. I'm gonna replace the Cam sensor tomorrow for good measure but it is snowing and cold here so I am quitting for the evening. Wahhh - I know.
I cleared the codes and so far the engine light has stayed out but I have only driven her a few miles sine replacing the sensor. I'll update tomorrow after work - that is a 52 mile R.T.
Once again - thanks to this forum I just saved myself some $$ and didn't have to let the D into someone elses hands. This forum kicks ***!

Sorry I didn't update yesterday!
Never got around to installing the CAM sensor last night., After 100 miles I would say the CRANK Sensor was the issue. I can spank that bbitch and she responds!
