Smile dash upgrades

i have recently wrecked my 99 durango and the airbags deployed i was at a junkyard not so long ago and found a 03 durango dash that was perfect i was wondering if they are able to be swapped bc i like the 03 dash more than the 99. and seeing as they are in the same gen i was thinking that they would bolt up but was wondering if anyone knew if it would and plug in or would wiring mods be needed?

There is a different bus on the electronics between the years you have selected. You should usually stick with 98-00s and 01-03s. With that said, anything can be accomplished with enough time, money and patience.

No,

Also you will need to replace the air bag module. It is up at the bottom of the dash on the trans cover between drivers and passenger sides. Remember to power down the module regardless.
