When I first bought it and changed the plugs, cylinders #2 and #3 had never been changed before because of the coolant lines going over the COP's. I replaced the coil on cyl. #2. I don't want to go replacing injectors but I don't know what else to do. Does anybody have a better idea, (i.e. TPS, IAC,). I hope I'm not stuck buying a set of injectors.
Next time instead of starting the engine, cycle the ignition switch on for 5-10 seconds and then off without starting the engine. Do this 2-3 times and see if it starts better. Sounds like your fuel pump may be going bad and is allowing you to lose fuel pressure.

on the miss, if you think it is a bad injector, swap its location with the one next to it, see if the miss follows the suspect injector, if so then replace it, if not then your injector is fine, trying the key cycle trick will help to determine if you have a weak fuel pump, OR possibly just a bad anti-drain back valve in the fuel pump (you can live with the second if need be)

What's the idle rpms? If it's in the 6-700 rpm range, you're right on target.

Default starting & idling

I was having the same problem, only in cold weather. Cleaned the TB & IAC and still not right. Replaced the IAC & reset the PCM. Runs great. Idles on its own and don't have to hold the brake & accelerator at stop signs & red lights. Glad I found this forum, has been a major help.
