Default Clutch fan to a electric

ive serched and found some stuff but i was woundering if anyone has used a 16inch electric fan from autozone part number (733700) and the thermostat controller part number (733647) of if you can tell me what year taurus you guys use the fan out of that would be very helpfull and the fal controller cheepest i found it was $98 any help is appreciated thanks in advance

yes it can be done, yes it has been done, are those the right part numbers? im not sure, i know a bunch of guys did it with the ford mark X(something like that) fan which fits, search the dakota sections they seem to have the info too.

If you are removing the clutch fan then the electric fan replacement is too important to trust a used one. Buy a new one.

Per the same thread above, you are looking for this:
NAPA part number BK 6551942 (or simply 6551942)

That Autozone model you mentioned above isn't even close to the CFM you need.

Default Thermo fan to electric

I used brand new parts from Oreilly's auto parts:

Hayden - Engine Cooling Fan Controller
Part Number: 3647 which is 35.99 plus tax and supports dual fans and is adustable from 160 degs to 210 degs.

Hayden - Electric Fan Kit
Part Number: 3711 which is 129.99 plus tax draws 17amp and pushes 1500 cfm

I have a 99 durango 5.2 ltr 4x4 and never overheat's
