Overdrive ?
I rarely use overdrive (i shut it off normally) cause im running 33's with 3.55 gears, the tires are to much for the gearing (no power in overdrive). here's the question. At 70 mph and roughly 2300 rpm's, when i push the button to turn the overdrive back on, it feels like it shifts twice, rpm's go up slightly, hang there for a second or two, tthen evens out at 1500 rpm's, it only does this in overdrive. anybody know what could be doing this?
Cool, just outa cause i dont know, what is failing on 46re transmissions? I have a rebuilt 46re that still has a warranty. My mech (who's a dodge man) told me that a higher stall converter would be alot better but would void my warranty. I know nothing about why it might be better, anything you guys can help with?

Anyway, I have the same set up in my Ram, I am re-gearing to a 4.10 next month and that will take care of that.....LMAO
