Couple problems: Revving, Lock Solenoid
Hi, I'm a new member here. I've got a couple questions regarding my 2000 Durango.
The first is that the driver side rear door lock makes a buzzing. I had this happen last year with the driver side door. Since this is a common problem I've decided that I better figure out how to change it myself as I bet this won't be the last one to go. So is the part I need for the left (55256713AB), or right (55256712AB) side? As in, I'm too stupid to know if the driver's side is the left or right
Second question may be more complex. The engine revs up quite a bit when I put it in park, though this doesn't happen when the temps are less than around 40F. Any recommendations?
Or is this problem tied into why the engine sometimes loses power and the RPM's fluctuate +/- 1000 RPM's while driving on steady roads, and the transmission light coming on, and getting codes for Injector Circuit Malfunction (flashes codes P0202, P0203, P0205, P0207). This problem has only happened maybe 3 or 4 times in the past year. Though the revving happens almost all of the time, unless I really rev it up before I put it in park, if I do that then it revs down and stays steady around 750 RPM's. If I don't rev it then it fluctuates and even when I start up it "remembers" that it was running crappy and starts up revving up and down as well. A/C on or off doesn't make a difference either.
Wow, sorry for the long message...I'm rather long-winded in person though too.
Thanks,
Sam
