There is not MAF sensor there's just a MAP sensor, two different worlds. Did you reset the PCM after doing this? Make sure to do this as there is much more mass and colder air getting in the engine.

Yep,

You need to reset the PCM and keep your foot out of it.....LOL

I forgot the PCM, thanks for that. Mileage is getting better. I doubt i ever see 11.5 again, unless I put it back to factory. but anything is better than 7.5 lol.

Its a roof flange that i cut down to fit the grill better. its made of hard plastic, not rubber. I got it at ace hardware.

Has anyone experienced any noticeable drop in engine operating temps with the backyard cai? Just curious about cold weather issues. My D already runs a little cool (within range though) but I'd like to do this inexpensive mod.

I haven't noticed, but it would almost have to drop a little being near sub zero outside. The biggest improvement i've noticed with this mod, is the throttle response. A huge improvement.
