Default Can I bypass my tccm? 01 durango

My tccm went bad I think. I am having the exact same issues as others with my selector switch position indicator led's not lit and am not able to shift out of 2wd ect. How do I test it? where can I find a schematic for the tccm? Is there a way to bypass it by either adding a jumper wire or installing a switch?

nope, no way to bypass it, if its gone you need to replace it
this pdf should have the wiring diagram for the tccm, i have never seen a diagram for the interior components of the tccm tho

Best bet is to go to the junk yard and take the tccm or switch from a similar 01 D.

Yeah Im not looking for a bypass to eliminate it, although that would be nice. I just need something that will put it in to 4hi for a day or too in case i need to go any where of if i need to get to work. I'm currently enjoying a rare snow and ice storm down here in Georgia and unable to get it out of the driveway in 2hi.

you might be able to get it into 4hi by applying 12 volts to the t-case motor, but that requires crawling underneath the truck and finding the switch motor and a 12v power supply (and i have NO clue how you would tell if it was in 4hi or not)

That is not a bad idea. I may be able to find which lead going to the shift motor gives the 4hi shift command.
