i want to put the 2" add a leaf on the rear and was wondering what is the best way to lift the front to match i was thinking a coil spring spacer but i was wondering how that would affect the handleing

But I wouldn't trust those. These are the style of what I would say to get http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...Q5fAccessories or extended springs, but I don't know anyone that makes them.

There really isn't much for the 2wd durango, however you could find out if the same spring is used and if so there ya go. Maybe someone with more experience in the 2wd will post up some information. I don't know how far you could lift it without messing up your camber?

 

well i have to get a new alignment anyways got a new rack & pinion and the wheels are cambered in as it is right now so im not to much worried abouth that i was more worried about screwing up the suspension geometry bc the spacers simply preload the coils bc of the way the springs are mounted

 

I would stay away from spacers simply because they make your ride feel like crap and put a large amount of wear and tear on your shocks. Also the add a leaf does do quite a god job, although if all you're wanting to do is add 2", why not just do a complete 3" body lift with blocks.

Body lifts are not expensive at all, like $300 and they are much more dependable than coil spacers and an add-a-leaf kit. To me that setup just sounds ghetto rigged.

i have a ram 1500 quad cab 4x2 4.7 i was wondering if any one knew of a good lift kit to get it 2 or 3 in up

i want the add a leafs bc of the 1200 lb of help they provide and would like to lift it a little anyway bc i have a 2003 2500 with the trusty ol cummins motor in it and love the hight and the d jus feels short to it but i found an upper a arm and taller coil lift kit for it but it requries to put 1.25 inch wheel spacers or a wheel with 4 5/8 backspacing at the most so im looking into doing that i jus got to sell my other car for the money.
