Hey Guys-
Looking for a little assistance here- recently my 2000 Durango SLT 4 X 4 has been idling louder than ever-actually when i turn it over it sounds normal and then the R.P.M level fluctuates between 1 and 2 as if I were revving the engine but Im not doing anything!! It runs fine and behaves normally except for this-any ideas what this could be indicative of? Any help will be appreciated!

 

Sounds like a bad TPS, (throttle position sensor). Go to Napa and get a new one. Should solve the problem.
